This was a tough year for me to say the least, but what is slowly coming out of it is a graceful appreciation for each day even more than before. I have always been grateful for each day, but after loosing my Mom and then facing heart ablation surgery only 6 months later, I can definitely recognize being in the moment with a new strength. It also opened up new ideas for my art,… which is taking advantage of the season along with what I already love to create. With that, you will be seeing more and more of nature that I will be incorporating along with my other art.

I have the { Saisonnier series }, which will be what inspires me and the creations; ( like above from June) and then also the { Bittersweet Series } Which below is beauty I love from wilted flowers and or other nature finds that are in season. I cannot wait to share. xo

Part of my ongoing Bloom series, this is the last piece I created in 2018. A bittersweet creation as it was created shortly after a very difficult month. More about that in this post.

Art is by far, one of the most therapeutic ways for me to express myself, so I know during this difficult time, I will continue to create, but this new year, I hope to give myself more patience with my art.

I look forward to what it will bring and cannot thank you all enough for continuing this journey with me over the years. xo
